ATLANTAEarthLink Inc. stock rose to a 52-week high Thursday after Sprint Corp. agreed to let its customers access their accounts at the Internet service provider through their PCS Vision cell phones.
Financial terms weren't disclosed.
The deal gives Earthlink customers access to their personal start pages and e-mail through PCS Vision, a data service for Sprint's latest cell phones.
Shares of Atlanta-based EarthLink traded at $7.82, up 51 cents, or 7 percent, Thursday afternoon on the Nasdaq Stock Market. The stock set a 52-week high at $8.11 in intraday trading.
Westwood, Kan.-based Sprint PCS shares were up 1 cent at $5.45 on the New York Stock Exchange.
