Package Availability... July 1- September 10, 2000 Historical Perspective: Years ago, the Ojibway Hotel gained significant notoriety has a headquarters hotel for hay fever sufferers. Guests from around the world were attracted to the Sault area by the clean, pollen free air blown in from Lake Superior. These guests soon formed a large social group called the Ca-Choo Club of America. Club members would come to Sault Ste. Marie to seek relief from their allergies during late August and September. The club eventually disbanded after new medications were developed allowing members to stay at home.
