About the Agawa Train Tour
The Agawa Canyon Train Tour is considered one of North America's most popular train excursions!  Ride
the rails through the Laurentian wilderness filled with spectacular waterfalls, pristine lakes, wildlife and incredible granite cliffs. This one-day train excursion departs from Sault Ste. Marie, just minutes from the Ojibway Hotel.  Once inside Agawa Canyon Park you will have two hours to enjoy a scenic hike to four sets of waterfalls or an opportunity to climb 250' up the canyon wall to the Lookout.  For your dining enjoyment, the train offers a dining car for breakfast and lunch service as well a licensed beverage car.  If you would like to enjoy a picnic-style lunch, we are happy to coordinate a delicious box lunch for you to and enjoy aboard the tour.
 
About the Ca Choo Club
The Ca Choo Club was a national social club made up of hay fever sufferers from around the world.  Each year between August and mid-September, members would travel to Sault Ste. Marie and the Ojibway Hotel to reunite and enjoy the pollen-free air blown in  from Lake Superior.  The group eventually disbanded with the development of popular allergy medications.
 
About the Casinos
Choice of four different casinos within 30 minutes of the hotel: Kewadin, Bay Mills, Kings Club and the Sault Ste. Marie Provincial Casino (SSM, Ontario).  Complimentary shuttle service is available to many casino locations.  
 
About our New Years Eve
Come join us for a fun evening as we celebrate the New Year! Plan to spend the night or the weekend by including some wintertime activities like the Agawa Canyon Train Tour, snowmobiling, skiing (downhill and cross-country trails available near-by), snow tubing snowmobiling or gambling.
 
About the Wild Bluff Golf Course
Designed by none other than Mike Husby, this 18 hole golf course weaves through natural hazards, winding streams and spacious fairways. Try their unique driving range and shoot at greens shaped like hearts, spades, diamonds and clubs.

About the Sweet Soo Attractions

        Soo Locks Boat Tours... Take a       relaxing, fully-narrated two hour cruise through the Soo Locks and along the St. Mary's River.  

        Valley Camp Museum Ship... Enjoy a self-guided tour through a retired lake freighter.  Numerous exhibits can be discovered in the hulls of the ships including artifacts from the Edmund Fitzgerald.

         Tower of History...  A great photographic opportunity!  You'll travel aboard an express elevator to an observation platform for a 1200 square mile scenic panorama.
